Terms Of Service

By purchasing services provided by WP TurnKey, you express your understanding of and agreement to the following:

Scope Of Work

Getting Started Packages

1. Web Site Hosting: WP TurnKey is not responsible for providing web hosting service. Purchaser of services is responsible for providing web hosting services that meet minimum requirements for installation of WordPress.
2. WP TurnKey will perform only the services specified. Any configuration settings, plugin/theme installation and/or configuration, or any other services not expressly indicated will not be performed.
3. WP TurnKey is responsible only for initial setup and configuration of your WordPress-powered web site. WP TurnKey is not responsible for any content creation (e.g. blog posts, pages), user management (beyond creation of the default admin user account), or on-going maintenance of your web site.
4. WordPress Security: WP TurnKey is responsible only for the security configurations specified. WP TurnKey is not responsible for on-going security measures, or for maintenance of security related plugins.
5. Web Site Promotion: WP TurnKey is responsible only for the web site promotion services, including configuration settings and plugin installation/configuration, specified. WP TurnKey is not responsible for any other promotion services for your web site.
6. Social Media Integration: WP TurnKey is responsible only for the social media integration services specified. WP TurnKey is not responsible for creation or configuration of social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter) accounts. Purchaser of services is responsible for providing social media account information in order for integration services to be rendered.

Annual Maintenance Subscriptions

1. Update Services: WP TurnKey will perform only the services specified, including updates to WordPress core and package-included plugins and themes. Updates to plugins/themes not included in the purchased Getting Started package, or any other services not expressly indicated, will not be performed.
2. Backup/Restore Services: WP TurnKey will perform only the services specified, including backup and restore of WordPress files and database. Backup and Restore of any other files or databases on your web hosting account will not be performed.

Migration Service

1. The Migration Service is limited to migrating one WordPress installation with its related database (and/or one integrated bbPress installation and its related database) from one web host to one other web host.
2. Upon request, other, non-WordPress related files and databases may be migrated, at the sole discretion of WP TurnKey. Excessive requests of this nature may incur additional costs.
3. Additional services: WP TurnKey will perform only the additional services specified, including DNS server updates and security configuration review and updates.
4. WordPress Security: WP TurnKey is responsible only for the security configurations specified. WP TurnKey is not responsible for on-going security measures, or for maintenance of security related plugins.

Limitation of Liability

1. All services rendered by WP TurnKey are provided “as-is”.
2. WordPress Security: Services provided by WP TurnKey represent current practice for security-hardening WordPress installations. However, no security measures can account for all conceivable security risks. Further, WP TurnKey has no control over the security practices of your web hosting service provider, or users of your web site. Therefore, WP TurnKey is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur as a result of a security breach of your web site.
3. Web Site Promotion: WP TurnKey services include configuration settings and plugins that facilitate the promotion of your web site; however, WP TurnKey is not responsible for promotion of your web site, or for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur as a result of any promotion (or lack thereof) of your web site.
4. Backup/Restore: WP TurnKey is not responsible for file and database backups stored on purchasers’ web hosting accounts as part of the Basic Maintenance subscription. For off-site file and database backups maintained by WP TurnKey as part of the Advanced Maintenance subscription, liability for loss, damage, or injury due to loss of such backups is limited to a pro-rated amount of the purchase price of the Maintenance subscription. This pro-rate amount is at the sole discretion of WP TurnKey.
5. Web Site Content: WP TurnKey is not responsible for any content on purchasers’ web sites, including content created using WordPress as installed by WP TurnKey.
