WP TurnKey was founded in 2010 by Chip Bennett, a hobbyist web developer since 1995 who began using WordPress in 2005. A Validation Engineer in the pharmaceutical industry by trade, in whatever free time is left over after spending all his time with his wife and kids, Chip has developed WordPress plugins, as well as (thus-far unreleased) custom WordPress and bbPress themes.

Chip can often be found hanging out at the WPTavern forums or the WordPress.org Ideas forum, and maintains a personal site at chipbennett.net.
